God of war 4 steam deck
WebUpon further inspection it looks like the game uses a lot of memory (+12 GB), the steam deck offers 16GB of unified memory (AFAIK, ram+vram (?)). I booted the game, it was consuming around 12GB, after playing for just half hour or so it was consuming 14GB (I think it was actually 14.8). How can we solve this?

WebSOLVED: Noticed this problem earlier when trying to download God of War on the Steam Deck. DL speed was erratic until 3-4GB and then appeared to freeze on "reserving disk space." On a whim decided to try and force proton experimental and immediately the download resumed as normal.
