WebI have a pap smear today. I'm extremely anxious about it, last time I had one all these different strains came up, I need hoping for low risk/no HPV, but we will see. Just curious, is there anyone here whose had high risk and was able to treat it successfully? WebPeople who are hrHPV positive and receive a negative cytology report should have the HPV test repeated at 12 months. If HPV testing is negative at 12 months, the person can be safely returned to routine recall. If HPV testing remains positive at 12 months, the person should have a repeat HPV test in a further 12 months.
