The easiest way to tell however, is any oDLC will have a p.psarc and a m.psarc in the folder together, with an otherwise identical file name - since Steam insists on downloading both the PC and Mac versions. WebI used to play rocksmith every day for a few months but I took a break after the update that busted dlc. Now I'm back and trying to get into it, but I'm having some trouble. I've done a fresh reinstall and made sure to have the D3DX9_42.dll file which allows for CDLC. Opening rocksmith I see all my dlc there and I'm able to open it.

I highly doubt it but that sounds possible. if your having problems with your CDLC BACKUP folder randomly deleting things try putting it on an external drive (like a usb) and keep it disconnected, and make sure it is not in your actual rocksmith folder.
