WebAug 16, 2024 · If there is backlight power voltage on the video cable on the motherboard you could always, turn off the laptop and disconnect the battery and using the hardware maintenance manual to access the video cable at the LCD panel, use an Ohmmeter to test the video cable wires for continuity from end to end to make sure that they’re all OK.
